Sam Wills

Sam Wills (a.k.a PEDRO) was born in Wolverhampton, 1986.

His first encounter with the decks and love of all things digital came about at age 13 after his friend's brother introduced him to Arman Van Helden “you dont know me” which formed the basis of his exploration of music and the art of mixing.

His early experiences performing in and around Wolverhampton bars, established his use for Trance which built the foundations of his experimental mixing style evident in his work-to-date.

Since defining this unique style, which incorporates all aspects of his musical inspiration, he has held residencies in the local underground scene of Birmingham with performances at 'Come to Bed' and 'Bushwhackers'

Unfulfilled with just DJ-ing, he decided to venture into production. In 2007 he created his first track, 'Purple Turkey' under the project name 'The Techtonic Twins' with producer Chris Flynn. Shortly after he went back to the drawing board to rediscover his roots and re-create his approach to mixing as an art form.

After 2 years of intense work and experimentation in the studio his first release since 2007 embodies the essence of his subliminal, off-beat-toms, and quirky-bleeps that form his distinct sound that'll appeal to techo lovers and many more.

As a producer he is never afraid to experiment with his production and mixing style when performing, Sam is definitely an artist to keep an eye on!
